In Burr Ridge, the Zemans paid $995,000 in 2006 for the property on which they built the mansion. Completed in 2008 by homebuilder Cirrus Construction and Custom Homes and located on a 0.92-acre property, the mansion is in Burr Ridge’s Highland Fields area and has six full bathrooms, two half bathrooms and a kitchen with an oversized island with imported marble countertops, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances and a walk-in pantry.

Other features include a walk-out basement with a movie theater, a golf simulator, a bar, a gym and a steam room. Outside on the property are a large swimming pool with a slide, a waterfall, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and a sport court with custom lighting and a Chicago Bulls logo.

“The scale of the home was really like no other,” listing agent Alexandra Shaban of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty told Elite Street. “It really gave a resort-like feeling when walking through the backyard. There’s really no home that compares in the western suburbs.”

The Zemans first listed the mansion in mid-July for $4.9 million, and they cut their asking price to $4.5 million in September. The mansion found a buyer in early November.

The mansion had a $33,168 property tax bill in the 2022 tax year.
